As we discovered and developed
new technologies, we slowly became less dependent on the sun. It began with the discovery of fire, which
allowed us to stay awake
longer and use more of the day. Later, we invented oil lamps and candles, making
the light more convenient.

Things took a big turn with the invention of the incandescent light bulb at the beginning of the 19th
century. It helped the foundation for our society today, as it contributed to implementing electricity in
many households and factories. Electricity has become essential for our daily lives today. Fast forward 70
years, LED technology emerged, and today, it is still the most widely used lighting source.

For most of human history, the sun has controlled our daily routines. But these days, as we spend nearly 90% of our time indoors and work under artificial lighting, it increases the chance of winter depression and
stress. The technology is developing r
apidly, and, at LIK, we will continue to contribute with solutions that
enhance everyone's well-being.

Since the dawn of humanity, the sun has been our primary source of light.
