Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains how lik.dk (the "Website"), operated by LIK A/S, Maserativej 5, 7100 Vejle, Denmark, CVR no. 25353536, uses cookies and similar technologies. It complies with the Danish Executive Order on Cookies (Cookiebekendtgørelsen, Executive Order no. 1148 of 9 December 2011), which implements Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), and with the GDPR where cookies involve personal data. How we process personal data in general is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone or tablet. They allow the website to function, remember your choices and collect statistics about its use. Websites can also store information in your browser through similar technologies such as local storage. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these technologies.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting, on that website's own domain.
Third-party cookies are set by another domain than the one you are visiting, typically through embedded content, advertising or social media plug-ins.
All cookies on the Website are first-party cookies set on our domain by the Squarespace platform, which processes the data on our behalf as our data processor. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media cookies. [If we add embedded content from third parties, such as YouTube videos or Google Maps, these providers may set third-party cookies. We will update this policy before doing so, and such content will only load after you have given your consent.]
The Website's fonts are delivered by Adobe Fonts. Adobe does not set cookies to serve fonts, but your browser connects to Adobe's servers to load them, as described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
3. Your consent
Under Danish law, we may only store or access cookies on your device with your prior consent, unless the cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. When you first visit the Website, our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies. Statistics cookies are not placed until you accept them. Your choice is stored for 30 days, after which we ask again.
