Colour reproduction

Good lighting brings out every colour and shade in an item. Especially in stores and restaurants, this is crucial for giving customers an optimal experience. By measuring a light source's Ra value, you can determine how well a lamp, for example, reproduces colour and make sure products are correctly presented.

Lighting sources are rated on the Ra scale, going from 1 to 100. The scale was invented years ago to investigate a source of light's ability to reproduce eight colour shades. Products with a high Ra value are better at producing colour than products with a low Ra value. LIK's products all have a value of 90 or above.

It is difficult to determine a products Ra value just by looking at it with your own eyes. Advanced equipment is needed. We always deliver a lighting installation with the best colour reproduction for your project.
